Hey there, wonderful readers! It’s been a minute since I last posted, but life has kept me on my toes in all the best (and sometimes craziest) ways. Since 2022, so much has changed, and I’m finally here to share it all with you.
New Job, New Adventures
The past year brought me an exciting new job in a completely new field which pushed me out of my comfort zone and given me a new spark. Between learning, adjusting, and embracing my role, it’s been a wild ride, but I’m loving every minute of it. This job shift has been a reminder that it’s never too late to pursue something fresh and fulfilling while getting paid for it.
Watching My Kids Grow Up
I blinked, and suddenly my kids are off to school! Makena started in the summer of 2024. Watching them become more independent and start their own journeys has been both surreal and heartwarming. School homework, new friends, and endless stories at the dinner table have become our new normal, and I couldn’t be prouder.
Renovation Realities
Ah, renovations—the dream and the challenge. We’re knee-deep in giving our home a complete makeover, which, let me tell you, is not for the faint of heart especially if you are DIY it like we are. From choosing designs to dealing with construction dust, it’s been a blend of excitement and exhaustion, but the vision of a revamped home keeps us going. New Ventures: Hair Braiding
On a fun note, I’ve picked up hair braiding again! It’s been such a therapeutic and creative outlet for me, a way to unwind and connect with others. There’s something so satisfying about transforming someone’s look and boosting their confidence through a fresh style.
