Life Update

It has ben almost three years since we met. Hi My name is Nancy and this is a life update. How are you all doing? I am hoping even one of you cares to know what has been going on. Last time we met, my second born had just been born. A lot has happened. I graduated. Can you even imagine? I even published articles from my thesis, check it out! I freaking have a Masters degree and job hunting. I even applied for PhD, lol. For a while I have been brainstorming on the direction of this space and then….. a revelation that is about to change lives came to me. I immediately updated the categories ready for this new phase.

What Have I been up to?

Since I graduated early in 2021, I have been doing a lot of research work. I have been reading and researching to understand migration matters and more specifically the refugees that settle in urban places. How they are able to navigate through life amidst so many politics  and challenges facing them. As a result, this will now be added to our posting.

Mothering has been so good. Mothering myself first and then the little ones has been fulfilling. I have been unlearning some old habits passed on through life and just being so intentional. The kids have really grown. Bernie is more independent and outspoken. Yesterday he told me my bum looked so big. Makena is more ticklish and fun now. We are really enjoying each other, cycling, exploring different playgrounds in Copenhagen and even doing house chores together.

Blogging is definitely my love. Taking a break was so important to fill up so as to come back with more content. I hope this time around you will stay with us a little bit longer. For now I welcome you back and lets enjoy this new journey!
